When I first began chiropractic care several years ago, it was due to a back injury. At that time my family doctor had given me a prescription for pain killers and muscle relaxants, with orders to spend 2 weeks in bed. Knowing I didn’t want to take time off from work for two weeks and that I would not be a very good bed patient, I decided to see a chiropractor. My decision was further influenced by the education you had been giving me while you were in chiropractic school. My treatment brought immediate relief from the constant pain, and I was able to continue working without pain killers and muscle relaxants. I stayed on my treatment plan to facilitate the healing process.

As you have continued to make me aware of the many other benefits of regular chiropractic adjustments and their importance in maintaining good health, I have been receiving regular adjustments during the past year. The benefits have made me a believer out of me. I don’t have to live with back or neck pain, the carpal tunnel in my hand has improved, and I have a heightened sense of well-being.

A few weeks ago I had a head cold, and my nose and head were stuffy. Normally I would have taken an over the counter decongestant for temporary relief and exchanged my stuffy nose for the effects of drowsiness. While I was in the clinic, I mentioned my stuffiness and questioned whether chiropractic adjustments could help. With a confident smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye you answered, “Let’s find out.” I did “find out.” My stuffiness subsided immediately and I breathed normally. One adjustment immediately ended my discomfort.

I continue to be amazed as I hear other patients share their success stories about how many other maladies chiropractic has helped.
